How To Use AStickyPostOrderER – A Cool WordPress Plugin
I was looking for a good plugin to help featuring say a post in a particular catergory. Installed a couple but did not seems to work out until I found AStickyPostOrderER which is located here:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/astickypostorderer/
What it does is it allow you to customize the order in which posts are displayed according to per category, per tag, or overall as a whole. So, with these said, I guess I still haven’t contributed anything new so far.
Because the plugin is a little short in providing instructions, and is intuitive to use, I believe you could use a little explanation and am here to help. In order to select a particular post as a sticky, all that you need to do is go to “Tools”, select “AStickyPostOrderER”. There, you would see two tables, Categories and Tags.
Since I just wanted to post a sticky within a category, here’s how it is done:
Click on the category that you want a particular post to be featured. Identify the post, then put the number ’1′ under the ‘Send To’ column. Click ‘Save and Refresh’ and you are done!
Easy, ain’t it?
